In order to fulfill our social responsibility as a corporate group accountable for the social infrastructure of logistics, SG Holdings Group (“the Group”) has formulated the "SG Holdings Group Decarbonization Vision" with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. For example, while collaborating with other companies to achieve a modal shift, the Group is also working to achieve a decarbonized society through its own initiatives, by improving the efficiency of deliveries through DX, introducing environmentally friendly vehicles, and introducing renewable energy to our logistics facilities. Furthermore, the Group is actively working on sustainability, owning forests in Kochi Prefecture that generate credits, as well as the Takao Forest, a woodland rich in nature.
The Group will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through ESG initiatives, including climate change initiatives, in order to meet the expectations of all stakeholders in our business, including customers, employees, local communities, shareholders, and business partners.
