Sports Activities

Through the promotion of sports, the SG Holdings Group works to foster the physical and mental well-being of employees and strengthen communication with local communities. The Group’s official sports clubs, its track and field team and women's softball team, employ athletes as employees and provide an environment in which they can focus on their sport. The Group also contributes to society and supports the development of the next generation through sports. Its initiatives include sponsoring the All-Japan High School Ekiden Championship held in Kyoto, where the Group was founded, and holding sports clinics for elementary and junior high school students led by athletes from its official sports clubs.
