SG Holdings is highly recognized for initiatives to achieve a sustainably society. The Company has received awards from external organizations and is included in the following stock market indexes inside and outside of Japan. We would like to further expand disclosure required by investors, and achieve constructive dialogue.
Inclusion in ESG Indexes（as of April 1, 2024）
The Company has obtained high evaluations from globally active ESG evaluation organizations and is included in all six ESG indexes selected by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), the world's largest pension fund, as its core ESG benchmarks for investment in Japanese equity.
FTSE4Good Index Series
An index developed by FTSE Russell. It is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong ESG practices from approximately 7,200 leading companies globally.
FTSE Blossom Japan Index
An index developed by FTSE Russell. It is designed to measure the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong ESG practices. It is used by a wide variety of market participants for ESG investments.
FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
An index developed by FTSE Russell. It is designed to measure the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong ESG practices in their respective industries. To promote the transition to a low-carbon economy, one of the selection criteria is management attitude toward climate change risks and opportunities, especially for companies with high greenhouse gas emissions.
MSCI ESG Leaders Indexes
An index developed by MSCI, selecting companies that are evaluated to have high ESG performance from various industries for companies aourd the world.
MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index
An index developed by MSCI, selecting companies that are evaluated to have high ESG performance in Japanese companies from various industries.
MSCI Japan Empowering Women (WIN)
An index developed by MSCI, selecting companies that are evaluated to have high diversity score for empowering women in Japanese companies from various industries
S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index
S&An index developed by S&P Dow Jones and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with the investment weight of the constituents being determined based on the status of disclosure of environmental information and the level of carbon efficiency (carbon emissions per unit of sales).
Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index
The index, developed by Morningstar using Equileap's data and evaluation methodologies, gives a higher investment weighting to Japanese companies that have a culture of gender diversity policies and a commitment to equal opportunities for employees regardless of gender.
SOMPO Sustainability Index
This is an index managed by SOMPO Asset Management Co., Ltd. It is used for the company's "SOMPO Sustainable Management" investment product, which is composed of around 300 companies demonstrating outstanding ESG performance and is used by many pension funds and institutional investors.

CDP
CDP is a UK-based global environmental assessment NGO that surveys the environmental measures taken by companies and businesses and promotes the disclosure of environmental information. CDP focuses specifically on climate change, water security, and forests. CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognized as the global standard of corporate environmental transparency.
The Company has been selected for the Climate "A List," which is the highest rating.
MSCI ESG RATING
The MSCI ESG Rating is a global measure of ESG investment that provides a comprehensive assessment and rating of ESG for thousands of companies worldwide.
