Launches international express service in Nepal

SG Sagawa (Thailand) Co., Ltd., which is the Thailand subsidiary of SG Holdings Global Pte. Ltd. – the overseas headquarters of SG Holdings Group, has concluded an agency agreement with Starlight Express Pvt. Ltd., an air cargo forwarder in Nepal, and launched an international express service for deliveries from Nepal with effect from January 2, 2019.
Also the cargo agent of Japan Airlines, Starlight Express is one of the leaders in the air forwarder industry in Nepal that has a powerful network. This partnership between SG Sagawa (Thailand) and Starlight Express will allow for provision of logistics services with a high added value, which includes door-to-door delivery to customers' homes.
Specifically, it is now possible to offer services such as international courier service and overseas air cargo delivery mainly to Japan for corporate and private customers in Nepal. This tie-up with Starlight Express aims to enhance the ability to address the logistics needs in Nepal.
By entering the forwarding market in Nepal through this partnership, SG Holdings Global aims to further strengthen its network in Asia.
