| [Sagawa Express] Environment Minister Ichiro Kamoshita Inspects Sagawa Express's Environmental Protection Activities (5/13/2008) |

On May 13, 2008, Environment Minister Ichiro Kamoshita visited the Tokyo Head office of Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. (in Koto-ku, Tokyo) to inspect its environmental activities.
The purpose of the Minister's inspection is to check the current status of environmental preservation activities in various industries, including efforts to combat global warming, taking into account the beginning of the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol.
During his visit, the minister was keenly interested in the company's natural gas vehicles and natural gas filling stations, and thoroughly inspected these while asking questions. |
