[Sagawa Express] Cosponsor Nationwide of "1 Person, 1 Day, 1 kg CO2 Reduction" Support Campaign

On November 21, 2007, Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. will launch a campaign called "Get Good Luck on First Delivery! Receipt on First-Time Delivery is Ecological!!" as a cosponsor of the nationwide "1 Person, 1 Day, 1 kg CO2 Reduction" Support Campaign.
The "1 Person, 1 Day, 1 kg CO2 Reduction" Support Campaign is a nationwide effort to achieve the Kyoto Protocol goal of 6% reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, by striving to reduce individual CO2 emissions 1 kg per day. It is up to each individual to take action, but a number of companies cosponsor this campaign and support participants, encouraging participants' active commitment to this effort.
Sagawa Express is a comprehensive logistics company whose operations use public roads and many pickup/delivery trucks. As our corporate social responsibility, we are making a company-wide effort toward safety and environmental issues.
Our campaign aims to encourage customers to receive a package on the first-time delivery (on a cash on delivery (COD) basis), in order to reduce as much energy consumption as possible and cut back on CO2 emissions by avoiding repeated deliveries by truck when the addressee is not at home.
Sagawa Express will continue striving to provide safe and environment-friendly service. |

Upon receipt of the request, we will send the card by Hikyaku mail express. |

Please show your My Challenge Declaration Card and Stamp Rally Card to the sales driver on delivery of a package. Three points will be stamped on the Rally Card if you receive your package on the first delivery, and one point if the receipt is on the second delivery. Please note that no points are awarded if the package is received on the third or later delivery. |
