SG Holdings Co., Ltd. is a holding company that originated from Sagawa Express Co., Ltd.
What can we do to increase the market competitiveness of Sagawa Express Group and become a more valuable company for our customers?
After careful consideration of many aspects, we have reached the conclusion that the best response to this question is to clearly separate the "Corporate strategy formulation/management function" from the "Executive function" and introduce a pure holding company structure, so as to speed up operations. This would enable us to respond quickly to changes in society and further strengthen our corporate governance through re-evaluation of operating companies and effective allocation of managerial resources.
Therefore, on March 21, 2006, SG Holdings Co., Ltd. was established to enhance the group's "true corporate value."
By increasing the overall strength of the entire group and providing comprehensive solutions, as well as by enhancing overseas business strategies, we aim to become a company that can promptly meet the diversifying needs of our customers and further establish our position in society as a much-needed company.
